πŸ’Έ A Week in The Life Of An Economics Student πŸ’Έ

So, my week begins with a 9am lecture on Monday – I know right, how unlucky! Besides being half asleep during the lecture, it is actually one of my favourites of the week. The lecture follows with another one straight after. Typically, after this I would chill for a bit because having two lectures straight on a Monday morning is quite exhausting, but this Monday there were birthday celebrations. Despite having a fairly busy day, it was a good one and allowed me to be productive as well enjoy myself.

The following day, I woke up to a free morning – one of the best feelings ever! Despite this, I had to catch up on some reading from the lectures yesterday and make sure I revisited the things I didn’t quite understand at the time.  The day consisted of catching up with university work and followed with a seminar class from 4 to 6. For most people, evening classes are the worst. But personally, I like going to evening classes, not only because this is when I’m most awake and aware but also because there’s something peaceful about walking in the dark on a winter’s day.

Fortunately, I had two days off this week – Wednesday and Thursday. My Wednesday began with a coffee catch up with one my friends. This followed with a library session with some of my course friends. Currently we’re working on a group presentation and so we make sure to meet up at least once a week for a couple of hours. The end of the day consisted of me reading the book I’m currently on and some reality TV shows.

Thursday was a more chill day for me, consisting of catching up things I needed to complete. Preparing some blog ideas as well as focusing on one of my deadlines was the plan for the day. In the evening, I had to go to work – so not the most exciting day ever!

Friday began with a 9am seminar class. Whist the class was okay, I was still tired by the end of it. It then followed with me meeting up with one of my friends at the library for a couple of hours where we tried to work on our assignment – tried being the key word! The day consisted of me trying to get ahead of work so that I could have the weekend off, but of course it didn’t go quite to plan! After some time, we decided to go for a walk along the Barbican to refresh our minds and have more a chilled evening!
