These are my tips for anyone revising for upcoming exams! Whilst nobody’s prefect and revision is not easy, I have found that following these tips have helped me and I hope they can encourage you too!

o   Start fairly early – I know it’s typical for teachers to tell you this, but honestly it is worth doing some work before the more intense revision begins so that your mind isn’t cramming in all the information at once.

As soon as my last lecture was over, I was so ready to take the longest nap of my life. The first term of University was an exhausting one to say the least, but also an extremely important one. My goal was to settle in comfortably and take as many opportunities that came my way. I’d like to think I achieved this goal and I believe this will help me throughout the year. I’ve enjoyed my experience so far and I am now far more comfortable than I was at the beginning of the term. Being able to make good friends and experience everything together has been extremely helpful!

So, my week begins with a 9am lecture on Monday – I know right, how unlucky! Besides being half asleep during the lecture, it is actually one of my favourites of the week. The lecture follows with another one straight after. Typically, after this I would chill for a bit because having two lectures straight on a Monday morning is quite exhausting. But this Monday there were birthday celebrations and so having a relaxed evening was welcome. Despite having a fairly busy day, it was a good one and allowed me to be productive as well enjoy myself.

University is so different to school in terms of independence and assignments, and for me personally, meeting those deadlines is important as I want to do well at University.
