πŸ“š β€œWhy Plymouth?” πŸ“š

Is a question I’m often asked, and I often ask myself. Out of all of the cities in the the UK, why did I choose Plymouth? I’m not even English, I’m Welsh, there’s several universities less than an hour’s drive from where I live yet I still chose Plymouth.

I picked up an University of Plymouth prospectus laying around in the Sixth Form common room and was impressed by the surreal views that welcomed me as I flicked the pages - I already knew what course I wanted to do without debate. After I had moved in, my dad suggested they (my parents) start driving home (a 3-hour drive to Wales) and I begged them not to. It’s okay to miss your family though. I’ve gathered that even though you love where you are, it’s okay to feel guilty about missing your family. I ring my mother and best-friend every day.
