Hello you wonderful postgradders and other students out there!
My gosh, has it been a busy few weeks! Let me just explain to you my last few weeks since I returned to Plymouth!
For my postgraduate course, I am studying a PGCE for teaching business and I have started my placement in a college within Plymouth. Handy I know! Beginning a placement where you haven’t met anyone and are learning something so different was incredibly daunting, and I was so nervous when I started! It’s always such a new adventure when you’re meeting new people and starting a new subject. However, I have been working at the college for about 3 weeks now and I have never been happier. I am now putting theory to practice, teaching 16-18 year olds exactly what I learnt when I was at school! It’s so surreal to think that! I get such a sense of reward from this placement and I cannot wait to see what the next year brings.
The other really exciting aspect of my life at the moment is… I GRADUATED. It was hands down one of the best days of my life and one that I will always treasure! It was an amazing day and I am so glad that I finally made it. It has made me 10000 times more excited to see where my PGCE will take me, and it’s great to finally consolidate all that I learnt during my undergraduate degree, and use it for my postgrad. Graduation was by far the nicest day since my return, and I was even so lucky to get some sunshine. It was a day to spend time with loved ones, congratulate and see off my peers, and to celebrate finishing my degree in style!
While this is all of the news I have for now, I cannot wait to show you what happens throughout the next year.
Let me know what you think and feel free to ask me any questions that you have about university!
