What has the rest of 2016 got to offer?

2016 has been a pretty eventful year so far! I mean, come one! PLYMOUTH UNI WON VARSITY!!!! (We won 22-18 if you wanted to know the score!) If you don’t know what varsity is, it is a major sporting event where the Plymouth university teams play against the Marjon sports teams to raise money for charity. It truly brings out the competitive side out of every person involved with the event, plus it is a load of fun! The games are held at various pitches and places around Plymouth and it is a good laugh to go with your friends to watch.

In addition to this, there is the hellish exam period coming up! Shock, horror. This year I have 2 exams to complete and if I’m honest, I’m not looking forward to it. But then again. Who is? My days are soon going to be spent in the library with books stacked up around me. If you can’t picture it, then soon you’ll be living it! The bad stuff aside, I really want to do well in my first year and the library is not a scary place to be! It’ll all be worth it in the end and just remember the reasons you’re at university!

Moving away from the slightly serious topics, let’s move onto work! You may have seen my face and a few of the other fellow bloggers faces around on social media and on the cover of student life? Let me know what you think of the photos! Well, I plan to carry on with this work because I absolutely love it! And the extra money really helps!

Hey hey business people! I’ve applied to be your social secretary for the UPBS (the business society!) I’m yet to be voted in, but I’ve applied and I really want to do it!  This is a really exciting thing to happen to me and I am really trying to embrace it. Being a part of a society is a really important aspect of university life as you meet people with similar interests to you and you make some great friends. My closest friends are all part of the same societies as me (As shown in the business ball picture below!) I’d love to be involved in this society more and hopefully make a really good impact.

Well, I think 2016 is going to be a busy yet successful year!
