Preparing for Postgrad…

While I have literally only just finished my final year of uni (finally submitted my dissertation! Go me!), I have already started considering what I need to do and what my next degree entails.

The postgraduate degree I am starting is a teaching course. This course means I work in a college for 2 days a week and study in uni for 2 days a week. For me, I love my weeks being organised and because of the layout of this course, I need to ensure I am super organised. I’m sure the new academic diary I’ve just bought will come in handy for organising my time!

Furthermore, another thing I am preparing for is being in a new crowd and adapting to the fact I will probably be the youngest due to the fact I’m young anyway, and the fact that I fast tracked my business degree…however, I’m going into this with an open mind and going to get to know as many people as possible.

Keeping on with my RA job also contributes to how aware I am about my time constraints and when to do my university work. This will help contribute towards my organisation!! I’m so looking forward to studying something new!

Finally, I’m also preparing for this new course by talking to my old teachers and some people who are already doing the course to see how they enjoy it. They all say it’s a lot of work, but if you’re organised then it’ll really pay off.

For the rest of the time, I will be purchasing some work clothes, and studying the current business curriculum that I will be teaching. It is so strange to think I am going to be teaching the next generation! It’s also incredibly weird to think that I will be a postgraduate student and I am just doing my best to chill out while also feeling as prepared as possible.

I’m sure I will be blogging about next year too, so we’ll see just how well I am doing!!

Bye for now!
