🏠 Visitors from Home 🏠

I live about a 3 hour drive from Plymouth, so while it’s not extremely far, it’s enough distance that I can’t go home all the time - those train/coach tickets would add up quickly. To make up for this though, I have superb family and friends who are willing to make the trip down and spend some time with me. It’s normal to miss your company from home, and while I don’t sit here moping about it, it has certainly been nice to have visits.

πŸŽ‰ FRESH(er) START πŸŽ‰

I packed and I repacked, I panicked and I rushed, I got distracted and I procrastinated, but eventually, everything I wanted to bring (except my wok, which is sat, forgotten, in a drawer back home still..) was shoved away into the nooks and crannies of the car, with me and my parents stowed away alongside.

The drive down allowed for plenty of time to overthink and stress about everything that could possibly go wrong, and to wonder at the possibilities of everything that could go right. I bounced back and forth between the two, a bag of excited nerves, until we reached the outskirts of Plymouth and I started to take it all in, for the first time, as my city.
