Earlier on in the summer, England experienced the hottest day of the year. At this time, the weather was not only hot in Devon, but the sky and sea were such a deep blue that on the coast it felt more like being in the Bahamas rather than the UK. So like the rest of the locals and holiday makers I took full advantage of the weather and spent two days “chillaxing” by the water. This time I would like to update you on my work placement experience which I'm eight months into and has in fact been great. Since the beginning of my placement I have been on many site visits which have significantly enhanced my understanding of construction. Also, travelling to get to these construction sites has given me the chance to get to know Plymouth city even better than before.
