Time-lapse project work

Recently I’ve been trying to experiment with time lapses, however the gloomy Plymouth weather has not been helping me out much!

For my course, I’ve been working on an individual project, and for this project, I’ve decided to do a short film. Despite my lecturer telling us that we can get other people to do certain jobs for us, I’ve just decided to do most of it myself, such as cinematography, time lapse filming, filming a few models at the studio etc. I’ve decided to try something new and original, so for my video I came up with the idea of doing a double exposure video! Here’s a little sneak peek screenshot of it!

In the screenshot, you can vaguely see the orange tone of the time-lapse softly coming through the clip of my friend who was one of my models. I’ve also realised that editing videos to create the double exposure effect is a lot harder than i thought it would be, and editing in general is a lot more time consuming than it looks! I am hoping that my final outcome will be decent enough, as well as get me a good mark! Additionally, my class has been told that there will be an exhibition of some sort to showcase everyone’s work, so hopefully it goes well until then!
