Life as a second year

Recently I’ve been a lot more than I imagined I’d be. Being a second year wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be last year as a fresher, however my time is much more packed, as I did slack off every so often last year. How much effort you are willing to put into your work and assignments/exams really does make a difference when coming into your second year.

In the past few weeks, I’ve been starting to take more opportunities and volunteering more and also earning cash alongside those little jobs, if I’m lucky, to help with my finances. I’ve been getting more involved with the University by helping people film events and contacting people who posted on my course Facebook page asking for help. It makes me feel better knowing I have helped people and sometimes it is something worth putting on your CV, especially if you’re doing more of a practical or creative course, as any outcome from it can be added to your portfolio.

Anyhow, there was a bonfire night and fireworks at the hoe last week which I attended with some friends. I do enjoy these kind of events that happen around plymouth as it is quite a good opportunity to enjoy yourself and socialise/spend time with your friends! The fireworks were lovely and I did take a quite a lot of photos them. Here are a couple!
